So yesterday was the Vaisakhi parade, and despite all the rain it was a fun day. I left home around 10am and started off by being trapped in traffic trying to find a park LOL. Then we walked to the main road of the parade (128) and met up with family, stood around and looked at the floats and ate of course. Which reminds me, i had the most delicious fries ON EARTH yummm i want them again =( Then we started walking, our whole family got split up because of the massive rush, so i ended up spending the parade with two of my sisters. It was hilarious. We kept seeing funny things or one of us kept making some sort of funny remark, so for the most part i just remember laughing LOL. I ate tons of food yesterday, but hey i couldn’t help it, it was basically being shoved in my face ok : ) Anyways, overall it was a great, fun, and memorable day like every other year. I got back to the temple around 4 so it was about 6 hours of walking, which today made my feet hurt, but that is expected. But the actual parade ended at 6, i just went ahead of it and came back earlier. It ended with a nice and peacful prayer. And then I came home, relaxed with family and at 10pm we went to see the fireworks at the temple. It was a fun day, now another year to wait =)
